Early Childhood Teacher Assistant
VidaLife School is looking for a caring and enthusiastic Early Childhood Teacher Assistant to support our nature-based learning programs.
Position Overview
In this role, you will plan age-appropriate activities, create a safe and organized classroom, communicate with families, and help children grow socially, emotionally, physically, and academically.
The right candidate enjoys being outside, values play-based learning, and understands that meaningful learning often happens through movement, creativity, relationships, and hands-on exploration.

- Ability to work collaboratively with educators, families, and school leadership

Responsibilities
- Plan and lead age-appropriate activities that support cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development
- Create and maintain a positive, welcoming, and organized classroom
- Observe children’s progress and developmental milestones
- Maintain open and respectful communication with parents and guardians
- Protect the physical and emotional safety of every child
- Help children practice social skills, emotional awareness, and positive relationships
- Incorporate nature into art, sensory play, and hands-on learning
- Create seasonal lessons and activities inspired by the natural world
- Guide children during outdoor exploration and active play
- Teach children to interact safely and respectfully with nature
- Encourage curiosity, creativity, problem-solving, and independent thinking
- Support daily routines, transitions, meals, rest periods, and classroom care
- Participate in Spanish learning, Bible stories, music, movement, free play, and curriculum-based activities
Position Details
Schedule: Full-time and part-time schedules may be available based on current classroom needs
Days: Monday through Friday
Work Setting: In person

Pay: $12.00 to $15.00 per hour
